An Inexpensive and Efficient Steam Cleaner

I purchased the McCulloch MC-1275 because I wanted to clean my home using less chemicals. I am happy with this steam cleaner and I think it is the best steam cleaner to have. Read the full info here. It produces steam which melts away dirt and effectively cleans my greasy stove and the surrounding area in the kitchen.

It works well too in my bathroom. It cleans the stainless steel fixtures, the shower screen and the grout areas between the tiles leaving the place squeaky clean.

Best of all is that unlike my previous steam cleaner that needed constant refilling, the McCulloch's water tank holds sufficient water which produces enough steam for all my household chores at any one time. There is no need to refill the tank until all the work is done.

So if you are thinking of buying a steam cleaner without blowing your budget, you just might want to purchase this model. It is reasonably priced, efficient and made of good quality materials.

My Dehumidifier Needs Some Fixing

Three years ago I bought a dehumidifier. I considered it as one of the best dehumidifier in the market as I had spent a lot of time going through user reviews to make the decision.

However, just recently I found something wrong with it. I honestly not so sure what had happened. One moment it was working fine another moment it emits this strange sound.I have some experience in electrical repairs so I thought I should check it out.

Then after a moment of external inspection, I took apart the internal compartments. It seems that some part had been burnt.

Though it doesn't look serious, I wondered what had caused it. Luckily, the customer support was helpful and they gave me some good advice. I cleaned up the burnt part and change the wiring. Then I checked my basement and found some leakage that makes the room wetter. I fixed that too and now my machine works fine. Hopefully it stays that way.

Then I sat down back to my study room and did some research online. At first I couldn't find anything but after nearly an hour I found a problem that is similar to my problems. It seems that it has something to do with the level of humidity. Some dehumidifiers are suitable for certain rooms only. I guess my basement was too wet for my machine.
